According to Bloody-Disgusting, Christopher Lloyd is attached to reprise his role as Dr. Carl Goodman in the next entry of the Piranha franchise, now officially titled Piranha: Pacific Nightmare. Directed by Stens Christensen (Raging Angels), the story concerns “a scientist creating a new breed of Piranha/Tuna hybrid that could live in saltwater as a new food source” until “the DNA mutates into a deadly new species.” The project plans to film in Japan and is currently accepting donations on the Japanese crowdfunding website, Camp-Fire.
The latest issue of Production Weekly (via World of Reel) states Edge of Tomorrow 2 will finally enter production sometime in “late 2026”.
Deadline reports production has wrapped on The Heretiks, a “witch-themed home invasion horror” movie starring Kimberly Epstein, Josie Wert, Ava Mae Seidensticker, Tess Williams, and Luke Speakman. Directed by Gregg Bishop (Dance of the Dead) from a script by Luke Piotrowski and Ben Collins (Hellraiser 2022, The Night House), the story follows “Cai (Epstein), a renegade witch who must protect sisters Ada (Wert) and Mabel (Seidensticker) and friend Wesley (Speakman) from her former coven, led by sadistic fanatic Neve (Williams), who seeks to bring about the end times by sacrificing Mabel on Halloween night”.
According to Variety, NEON has acquired King Snake, the “Southern gothic horror film” starring Margaret Qualley and Michael Shannon.

In latest episode of the Daredevil: Born Again Official Podcast discussing the events of last night’s season finale, showrunner Dario Scardapane promised the show will not “buyback” Daredevil’s secret identity becoming public knowledge.
But we’re probably not gonna do Purple Man doing mass brainwashing of an entire city to buy it back. We’re not doing buybacks. Like, if you’re taking that step– it’s like, “alright, now everyone knows Matt’s Daredevil…”
