Software-update: NetLimiter 5.3.28.0

Locktime Software heeft na lange tijd weer eens een update van NetLimiter uitgebracht. Met dit programma kan al het in- en uitgaande netwerk- en internetverkeer in de gaten worden gehouden. Daarnaast kan per applicatie worden aangegeven of deze met het internet verbonden mag worden en wat de maximaal te gebruiken bandbreedte is, en er kan een quotum worden ingesteld. Een standaardlicentie kost twintig dollar, of dertig voor twee jaar. De releasenotes voor deze uitgave kunnen hieronder worden gevonden.

This release makes creating filters much quicker. Select multiple applications or connections in Activity (or applications in the Application List), right-click on them (opens the Context menu) and choose Create filter. The Filter editor opens with all of them already filled in.

Blocker rules for loopback/localhost traffic (filters with the Is loopback traffic function) now work correctly.Loopback traffic is now recognized in the whole 127.0.0.0/8 range and for connections to the computer's own IP addresses.Starting minimized to the tray (for example at logon) is more reliable.
