Despite its name, Anime Expo 2026 delivered a wealth of new content across a variety of mediums—there were manga announcements, game demos, and in-person experiences. But while that’s all good supplemental material, the star of the show was obviously all the new anime trailers and footage that premiered at the convention. We got a first glimpse at Witch Hat Atelier season two and Star Wars: Visions Presents — The Ninth Jedi, Ghost in the Shell dropped its new theme music, and The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy at All somehow nabbed Nirvana’s “Breed” for its opening titles.
